Wtf is that
Wtf is that
Just an FYIAbout time this struggling club, the little guy, gets one of the most lucrative sponsorship deals in history. $10mil for 5 years is good coin and beats out all the free chicken nuggets their last sponsor could give.
So the nine or so other board members collectively agreed to pay Nick what he wanted for shits and giggles?Just an FYI
BYD in Australia is run by AP Eagers.. whos majority shareholder is you guessed it
Uncle Nick, so I'm sure the $2m fee wasn't hotly negotiated ..
Not quite... the owners of the licensed distributor rights for BYD in Australia and New Zealand markets is still EVDirect.com.Just an FYI

Nice work to google it after I broke the story ..Not quite... the owners of the licensed distributor rights for BYD in Australia and New Zealand markets is still EVDirect.com.
EVDirect and Eagers Automotive Ltd have created a joint-venture company, EV Dealer Group Pty Ltd, which EVDirect.com has sub-licensed the retail and online sales rights to.
Eagars does now have the controlling rights for EV Dealer Group Pty Ltd after it paid EVDirect.com $70m to increase its share from 49% to 80% mid last year, but ultimately for things like spending money on sponsorships of the Roosters, EVDIrect.com (and even BYD) would have also needed to sign of.
Politis I'm sure would have leveraged his position in Eagers (which he is one of 9 directors and owns a 27.3% stake in) to recommend that the company sponsor the Roosters, but I don't imagine the others involved would have willingly just agreed to sign off on a $10m+ sponsorship deal without feeling like the numbers added up.
What story did you break? @globalpanther broke the news about BYD sponsoring the Roosters back on October 10, and Politis' association with BYD was talked about back then, including who had retail rights, the ownership structure, etc.Nice work to google it after I broke the story ..
It's a bit jarring to see a colour/colours that aren't typically associated with a club pop up in NRL training gear, but it's not entirely unusual in other competitions.Wtf is that
It’s just the collar template that Dynasty teams have moved to this year, much more prominent red ’collar‘ on both jerseysSpotted on the Warriors store. No real changes to the Warriors Home and Away jerseys next year
They look good.Found these on the Sharks store, they're listed as training jerseys, but have the NRL logo on them plus the template Classic use for the on-field jerseys. Possible pre-season jerseys?
