So, a kinda Kiwis jersey?!? Nah, not a fan.

I may be in the minority, but I think club & national team identities/branding/colours should be distinct.

There's other ways they could (should?) take alternate/heritage designs - A green or red jersey for instance, swapping a minor colour for the major colour.
Yeah I agree- like the jersey as a kiwis jersey but not particularly as a Warriors jersey.
Loved it when the club went back to the og colours for this very reason

Cheers, yeah - will be interesting to see how the PNG NRL club will brand itself, as I fear they might just use some variation of Kumuls colours.

This appears to be a perfect example of somebody posting feelings over facts.

The Raiders have hosted Souths 14 times at GIO/Canberra since 2000, and have worn their home jersey on all but two occasions. Between 2006 and 2019, Souths wore an alternate jersey every time (either black, white or red base). I don't quite understand why they've worn home jerseys since 2019 prelim to now, but it hasn't changed Canberra's home jersey being worn.

Oh and the two occasions Canberra didn't wear their home jersey?

- In 2010, the Rabbitohs bought their white alternate jersey and wore it, but the Raiders wore their black alternate strip anyway.
- In 2005, the Raiders wore a black indigenous jersey (presumably a choice), so the Rabbitohs wore their home jersey.

So your claim that the Rabbitohs have rocked up in Canberra with a green jersey and forced the Raiders to wear an alt is DEBUNKED.
I don’t see how the Great Dane can ever post here ever again after this.

Likewise. I've been hoping for years that a Perth team will be red, yellow, and black. Now that they're in, we know red and black are there (I still hope that yellow / gold is part of it). And Dolphins are red-gold-white (with black being an alternate jersey colour this year and last). Surely all three new clubs aren't all red-gold-black?

Interesting times ahead for the PNG team's identity announcements.

See there is a problem I can kinda see brewing, that the 3 latest teams could all have virtually the same colour schemes.
Dolphins - Red - White - Sand (Yellow) - Black (For no reason really)
Perth - Red - Black - White - (Should have Yellow for WA)
PNG - Yellow - Red - Black (Unless they go for a completely fresh identity)

Yes it is interesting that all 3 new team are leaning on the same 3 colours. It is messy but manageable though.

- Dolphins as the mostly RED team with a bit of white and occasionally gold (ditch the black)

- PNG as the mostly YELLOW team with a bit of black and red.

- Perth as the mostly BLACK team with a bit of red and yellow representing bears and WA respectively.

Or Dolphins ditch the black, PNG go with a different colour scheme (maybe incorporating one of these colours), and Perth go with red-black (locked in already) and yellow.

Anything stopping PNG from taking the old Western Suburbs Magpies colours of black and white? Maggies aren't coming back (despite some in their club agitating for it last year).

Fair point, and another factor is the shade of yellow/gold and red being used by each team. There's scope in both to have shades that distinguish all 3 clubs.
