I'll be happy for Loz if/when he wins a few series. He's not a good coach but he doesn't deserve to be the joke many see him as these days.
Yeah it isn’t his fault he was up against the super gods back then. Some of those Blues blokes copped it way too much back then. He is one of my most respected rugby league Identities of all time. One of my sisters is even named after him.

Massive copium of NSW fans think that wasn’t a sin bin lol
It's the perfect example of a rule being introduced for one specific aspect of foul play (a jumper's legs being taken from under them, landing them in a dangerous position) and then its bounds extending way beyond its original purpose to the point when nothing things like that are now sin bins.

The game is littered with these 'interpretations' now and it's worse off for it.

Time to bring back the 34 year old outside back that put fear into the NSW pack.

Slater was outcoached by NSW greatest ever player last night. He was also beaten at the selection table. It serves him right for picking bums like Loiero just cos he plays for the Storm (which Slater admitted) ahead or Horsbrugh. Collins and Fotuaika also shouldn't have been selected ahead of Big Red. Toia was also a stupid selection (although he done ok I guess). Xavier Savage should've been in the side. Fogarty should also be the 7.

NSW 3 - 0.
Shaun Packer, Owen Pattie, Xavier Savage, Horse, Adam Cook, Seb Kris and Fogarty all robbed by the evil Qld coach.

You do realise you're talking about a tournament where the best countries in the region play each other. Fantastic idea! We can call it something like the Pacific Championship

Almost sounds like its already a thing.....
We have the Pacific Championship, cool.

Are you fine with Origin staying in its current format, a competition soon to span from Perth to PNG to Auckland being hampered for a full 1/4 of the season for the sake of 3 games between 2 sides? Do you think that format is sustainable for the next 20 years?

Even decent NRL game is a stretch. Queensland attacked like the Knights last night.
I was watching the Maroons attack last night, noticed the lack of structure or leadership and the game plan that seemed to be:

#1: Give it to Ponga and wait for him to do something
#2: See #1

…and wondered why it looked so familiar?

Gags should tell Slater to get f**ked if he approached him about playing in Game 2. He’s been treated like shit the last few years.

Agree that QLD were beaten at the selection table and due to injuries. I think it's a completely different game if the likes of Sam Walker, Cobbo, Horsburgh, Gilbert, Walsh and others were available and played.
So qld doesn’t have the depth to call on like the blues but we have to find available talent to match them. Need more time for dearden as back up hooker if he isn’t a starting half

It's the biggest money spinner in our game and is still going strong so yes

Moronic to suggest otherwise

So, let me get this right. You're suggesting Billy Slater is actually Adam O'Brien in disguise? ;) :p
