Hey Guys,

Wanted to start a thread for the trials, i think from what i can see our fist one is against Roosters on 16th Feb at Jubilee.

Any idea how one can get tickets? Very keen to see how some of the new recruits go (if they get played)

We are nearly there now, I’m absolutely frothing.
Love that the trials are televised and enjoying the media bites from Flano.
I think it’s been our best off season in years, so much to look forward to.
Bring it on!
Likewise. There are so many unknowns with this squad. I still think '25 will be a developing year for a better '26, so I'm not getting my hopes up too much. I do know that I will enjoy our wins just that little bit more though. That probably makes no sense at all I suppose.
Go you mighties!!

Last year was enjoyable but I really struggled with Ben Hunt, particularly towards the end.
I couldn’t stand his head representing us in press conferences.
And knowing Lomax was leaving all year long was a bit weird too, cheering for him but at same time thinking damn he’s going to Parra.
This year the team is more likeable.

We finally have a squad with players who actually want to be there and will buy into the coaches mantra. I’m really looking foward to it.

Watching Lomax was hard for sure as a fan. I can understand players leaving when their contracts are up and for more dollars but leaving at the end of the season when you have 2 years left for 200k a year less? That hurts. How much hate would you have for a club to do that. He played well but in the end took up a spot for a player that wants to be part of the club the following years. It's like he was rubbing it in our faces that we lost a quality player for 2026.

As for Ben Hunt, there was one stage he wanted to re-sign with the Dragons only for them for once to have the ball in their court and say we are not extending. A least there was a period where he did want to be part of the club. That is until Flanno crushed him for being a poor leader and more or less gave him the marching orders to look elsewhere.
