I’m not death riding Crush
I want to set the bar high and Win
I expect to win every game
I went to Melbourne to watch us play last year cause I expected to win and we did.
I don’t understand this negativity and lack of willingness to set the bar high.
Low expectations are a recipe for disaster
You ask bulldogs, roosters or Penrith and most other fans of clubs what they expect next year and they mostly expect a premiership
Shane Richardson, a proven winner said the other day he expects the Tigers to win the comp in two years.
I love that positivity it rubs off on the players because they have been put on notice
People on here don’t want to make people accountable for their performances
Every one at the club needs to be measured against the success of the club as a whole
That’s what the top clubs do and why they are so successful
‘Imagine if in 1956 the supporters were happy with coming 10th.History would have never been written for the Dragons
Aiming high is the only way you breed success in business and in sport and I come from a ruthless business background
‘Those who think I am death riding Flano in my eyes are scared he will fail and want this soft option crap.
So if you want enjoyment as you say let’s aim high and believe me you will see how much faster you get to success rather than this bullshit soft approach and low expectations which is a recipe for failure and a disaster.
i think many of us just have PTSD and are so invested to the point that it significantly affects our mental state as to how our beloved team performs. If we set our expectations low it is just a coping mechanism and we (and our families) don't suffer when they (inevitably) let us down.

There's a big difference between expecting and planning for great outcomes and setting the bar ridiculously high with expectations that are completely unrealistic.

It's like the fat, pimple-headed geek planning to lay the hottest girl at school. Barring a miracle, it ain't happening.

We are still that geek. We still have acne and fat rolls to lose before we can aim for the top shelf. We're lathering ourselves in Clearasil and are on the Man Shake's, but aiming for the prom queen will just leave you hot and bothered with your dick in your hand.

Maybe hope for something more attainable first before you set YOUR expectations too high...
But when the fat geek get the hot girl it's a real achievement - and it'll never happen if he doesn't try.

Hey Guys,

Wanted to start a thread for the trials, i think from what i can see our fist one is against Roosters on 16th Feb at Jubilee.

Any idea how one can get tickets? Very keen to see how some of the new recruits go (if they get played)
Members presale on now for the Feb 16th trial at Jubilee. Unfortunately you'll have to endure the curtain raiser between the Dogs and Tigers before the main event at 7.30
