The newest club v the oldest club and ironically the most capped coach against the least capped coach.
Our hero Vlandys will find a way to make this game go ahead because rugby league is the greatest game on earth.

I can see them moving the game to Sydney with the Dolphins getting the home game in round 17 as compensation. The problem is South's home ground Accor is booked out on Friday so playing there can be ruled out

Whatever happens the NRL find a solution. I just hope this cyclone goes back out to sea.

The swapping to play in Sydney is highly unlikely.

Accor is not available, Allianz is probably not either (Thu and Sat games with SCG in use Fri night).

Commbank is the only other option and I reckon with member seats etc etc that would be a logistical nightmare they'd want to avoid.

Best case IMO is play it Sunday but even that's fraught with danger.

Either way, we dealt with the uncertainty far more in 2020-21 so I'm sure it'll be fine.

24hrs to 48hrs after is likely to be worse ,with up to 300mm of rain forecast for Friday and Saturday.

Soft cock generation! Back in the day you'd play through a cyclone with no f**ken grandstands to break up the wind and you were allowed to shoulder charge! f**ken games gone soft!
Yep. Leather ball, heavy cotton jerseys, no drainage on the field, fans sitting/standing in the elements with no roof and no 4K... and still threw the ball around to play enterprising football. Ah the good old days.

They should just move it South to anywhere that's available. Suncorp will be a swimming pool by Friday night if the forecasts are correct. Do it now before the airport is closed.

I think by 6pm local time there will need to be a decision before the point of no return takes effect

Wayne Bennett looks so skinny and frail these days, he'll be blown away if the wind gets over 40km/hr... best get him in a carrypack and have Ben Hornby cart him to and from the coaching box.
