Great to have the signature fades back but I just feel we will never again reach the peaks of wackiness that Rapana and co brought.

Unfortunately didn't get to watch this one live, because I'm an idiot and agreed to a commitment months ago thinking this would be 9th vs 12th or something equally as unappealing.

But reading through this thread a watching the smug slowly dissipate will sustain me for weeks.

We missed Red.

We missed Jacob Preston, Stili, Curran and Sam Hughes. Besides Red a full strength Canberra couldn't put away a Dogs team missing most of its forward pack leading 20-0.
Next week we'll miss all the above + Jaeman Salmon.

Doesn't look like you actually missed any of them.

While I’m not privy to exactly what was said (re: the initial words from Salmon to warrant Ricky’s weak gutted dog comment). However given I am privy to what is was about, if the general public knew what is was, not a single person would ever speak to Salmon again. And no I won’t be sharing that information, even by PM. I’m sure those with an iq above 15 could work it out.

Pretty sure it was well rumoured at the time tbh.

Wasn't Salmon literally 12 when it all went down?

Yeah 11 or 12!

Ricky Stuart laughed at some guy who screamed it out last week at Magic Round that went viral!

From what I’ve been told he was about 16-17.
I just remember from the stories at the time it stemmed from Cronulla juniors earlier than that.

Regardless, I think that damning a bloke for life based on words said when they were 12, or 16 for that matter, is probably over the odds. It might be fair for Ricky to hold a grudge given who it allegedly related to, sure. But it's also over the odds to blow up in a presser about it a decade later imo.
