Jeez it would be nice to just see a game of footy play out as a back and forth contest. That happened for a little bit here and then Gee basically decided the Warriors could have the ball for 15 minutes and then the Raiders could have the ball for 15 minutes. There’s no real arm wrestle to the game, it’s just one team attacking the opposition line until they score, then the other.

Yeah agreed. There’s really very little difference between what he calls ruck interference vs what he lets go, which tells me he could be letting a fair bit more go without really affecting too much.

I said early on that he had big Main Character energy today and he proved that, especially the way he twice lectured Tapine without letting him respond, then told him to go away when he had a question. We don’t want the game to be slowed down too much I know, but surely the captain is entitled to ask at least one question?

People praised him for his handling of the Panthers vs Broncos grand final, but that’s because he literally put away his whistle. What we’re seeing today is the REAL Adam Gee, and it’s not a pretty sight.

Solid half, Warriors wasted that bin period and let the Raiders gain confidence. Pompey brain explosion all but undid the defensive work the last 5mins.
Hope that was the Warriors ‘bad half’ and they refocus at halftime

Wonder how the NRL hierarchy actually view Gee’s performance? Is he being told how many times to blow the whistle ? Because 99% of the audience would say it’s horrendous.
