The only thing the commentators talked about more than Roosters missing players is Edwards' groin.

Hasn't been a more talked about groin since Ricky Stuart's in the lead up to the 1991 Grand Final.

Which is even funnier since Ivan said during the post match press conference that is thought to be a quadriceps strain instead.

Some men thought Robbo was going to get the punt this week...lol

Go back to his tin foil hat days.

That rooster defence looked so shaky and pensive that first 15, they were almost blushing to be out there.

Enter Angus at his Magic mushroom psychotic best, the turd dissing Dylan in tackles and even the cuddly Chadster wore a determined fake grimace for the second quarter.

Ivan usually doesn’t need to tape these games for a review, they got rid of team home theatre 4 years ago. Turned it into a sauna for the teams pets.

Whoever is playing the panthers next week is f**ked.

Penrith have conceded 33% of the amount of points they conceded in the regular season in 2024 in only 8% of the games. Deary me, the defence is as tired as Ivan looks.

We were bad, Roosters were much better..end of story..on to next week..Ivan is going to punishing them on the tackle bags this week at training. Storm look imperious.

On a serious note I was confident it wouldn't be the same flogging as last week because a) last week we ripped on for the first 15 too and went to shit when Radley left the field and B) Penrith looked leaky against the sharks.

I didn't expect to win or even get close though so it's a wonderful win for the club with 7 players in the 17 with 5 or less games of experience. They have shown enough for me that they will be fighting for a spot in the 8 especially when the troops return although probably will get some tough days as well with the young players.

On the Penrith side, their defence on the edges was real bad and they didn't seem willing to move the ball to the edges either. They will bounce back but quite clearly are back to the pack now. Can still win the comp but will need a lot to go their way.

Regardless of how bad we were last night, we have already sabotaged our own hopes of winning the comp by rebuilding our fortress in the middle of this dynasty and playing 'home' games at Parramatta. We would need a lot go our way as in several of the top contenders all choking. A Storm v Broncos GF already ominously likely, I fear.
