Tackling in the air has been a penalty for ages tbf. It was a fair call going by the rules
Ok I agree with being a penalty for being tackled in the air but why the penalty try, was it certain that Xavier was going to score that try? He could have been tackled?

Admittedly I was at the game so I only saw it through tipsy eyes on the big screen. I’d have been comfortable with no try but penalty.

As I understand it, the bunker inferred that if he wasn’t tackle mid air, he’d have scored legally without the need to promote the ball regardless. But again, if they overturned the try and gave us the penalty I wouldn’t have been mad.

What a strange game rugby league is. If you smash a bloke in the head whose in the motion of scoring a try it's only a penalty, but if you tackle a bloke 2m out mid air it's a penalty try.
Make it make sense you merkins.

I felt sorry for the Broncos bar Mam (f**k him) and Hunt (175th loss suck shit merkin). They were on a hiding to nothing and never were going to win it.
Storm's ball movement was impressive and I was surprised they didn't win by more. The Coates non-try early in the game would have been a contender for individual try of the season if he didn't go out.
