Cronulla are clearly chancing their arm out wide, but they've done their homework against Souths, they were clearly vulnerable there against Saints. Good coaching.

In all honesty there are 4-6 good teams in the competition:

Melbourne, Penrith, Brisbane and Cronulla... and then probably Canberra and Canterbury

Everyone else is around the same 'meh' standard

You just need to keep it as close as possible against the top teams, don't get injured or suspended and win 75% of the other games to make finals

How Souths let ourselves get here is another argument but that’s where it's at

Basically this is of zero surprise, particularly with our injury toll

You just need some cheerleaders like the Sharks have. Although I'm not sure what kind of cheerleaders you'll find in Redfern.
