Not sure Havili can play 80 so we will need someone else to fill in there for him when he needs a spell. Possibly Sullivan into dh when Gray comes on? Or Gray himself could be very dangerous darting out from dh with his speed and evasiveness. He would shine in any of the spine positions and it would only develop his game further to spend a bit of time there too.

Souths starting forward pack is very light this week so looks like another week of losing the arm wrestle

Gray is wasted on the bench. Hard to see how he gets into the game unless there is an injury and he plays fullback

Agree about Gray.
He should be FB, Mitchell moved to C, and Tass moved to W, but we've had that discussion on this forum before, there is a few that vehemently disagree.

If Tass is being moved from centre it should be out of the a grade team. The guy is slower than a slug and can’t keep up with the speedier wingers.
Agree with gray and Mitchell moves

Well Game Day is just about on us as we enter Round 10 hard to believe it’s already that and this round I believe is Women in league round so it’s an important one as we celebrate the important role Women play in our great game. I’m sure it’s a special one for all the clubs and coaches playing staff etc. For us we are back home at Accor feels a while since we have had a home game there. And it’s a Friday Night blockbuster against the Broncos. For us we all know how depleted we have been to start the season and especially the last 4-5 weeks. For us we started the season well 4 and 1 but it’s all turned south the last month with 4 straight losses putting us at 13th on the ladder a place we don’t want to be. A loss here will see us drop into that bottom 4 so we need to do everything we can here to get the result. Last weekend at Magic Round that first 20mins was not South Sydney. We can handle losing but we need to see effort and will to fight and desperation. Last week was just woeful from so many of our senior boys and I hope there had a good hard look at themselves. Looking at the Broncos they have been up and down but they’ve been more on than us. They’re coming off a heavy loss last weekend for us so they’ll be keen to get back on track here.

For us we have to get back to starting well the first 20-30mins we need to give ourselves a chance. Our first up contact needs to be much better. Also after half time has been a period we have struggled so starting both halves well is crucial. We get Trell and Jamie back two massive additions. Up front we have Keaon moved to the middle which I really like I think it’s where we need him as well. Aitken moves back to second row too which is his best position . For us it’s about limiting the errors and our forwards doing a job to get us into positions where Trell and Jamie can do their thing. Stopping this Brisbane pack will be hard with Haas and Carrigan etc it doesn’t get any tougher. Then they have Reyno pulling the strings and so much strike in the backs. It will take a total team effort and desperation to stop them. Cmon boys lift and fire up please and get our season back on track. We need to show better line speed too and get our kick chase better. We need to see more of those effort areas. I like Hubner back at lock as well I think that’s the right call!

Well not long til the players come out here onto Accor Stadium this Friday Night! Great to see so much Red and Green in the stands here tonight. Let’s do all we can in the stands to get our boys the vital 2 competition points tonight. Let’s get that South Sydney chant up and going around Accor Stadium for the full 80mins and be that 18th man for the boys! Let’s make sure everyone watching at home knows this is South Sydney home turf and a South Sydney home game…..

Ok as we look down the tunnel here at the Rabbitohs home ground we can see the boys from North of the border making their way down the tunnel……….. Rabbitohs Members Rabbitohs Supporters please give a warm South Sydney welcome to the Brisbane Broncos………….

I hope to see Latrell run the attack from the back and get the entire side attacking as a unit. That's his job as well as putting on special plays himself individually. Humph to get us down the right end of the park by doing most of the kicking. And the forwards to link up and tip on more rather than run one out considering Wayne has gone for mobility over size.

If we can tire the bigger Broncos forwards by using the ball more and turning them around with good kicks downfield, then a little dynamo running pocket rocket coming off the bench to spell our hooker at dh could be lethal. He could terrorise those big Brisbane logs in mid-field similar to how the Knights flyers like Sharpe were running around our big logs like Keppie and Tatola last week.

I smell an ambush tonight at home where everyone expects Brisbane to be too strong.

Souths to win.

Looking outclassed by a team in 2nd gear so far in the 1st half.

Scrappy errors ealry on when we had a chance to start with early points. Tallis Duncan is not an edge forward yet and moving from right side to left makes him totally new to the position yet again.

The boys are trying hard but just lacking the class needed to foot it with the Broncs thus far.

Well at least Mitchell has been fairly decent, and doing work, hit ups.
Sullivan has been really bad, he is killing all the right shifts with crap passes and kicks, they need to take him off and put Gray there.
I'm fact, I don't know why Gray didn't start at 6, and Sullivan be the 14

100.

I hope to see Gray on for Sullivan to start the 2nd half. The attack hasn't had much chance to put something on because they've fluffed too many passes.

And because Sullivan has us going backwards when we are attacking in the red zone, they aren't able to mount pressure or any repeat sets, and that is putting Souths under pressure when the Broncos get the ball and run it out.
The missed tackles hasn't helped either.
