The Loft is relieved that Burt moved KK to prop and re-united Tass-Graham. And moved Aiken back to SR.
Squad is now 5-1 with The Humph starting. 0-4 sans his presence. This guy could be special, not spectacular, but special. Ditto for Hubner. This dude ia real player, relentless effort.
The Back Row of Hubner-Aiken-Duncan could be the correct starting mix. Brisbane are erratic but no doubt their forwards are very very big.
Bench may be best served with Le Blanc and Keppie always there. We now know Gray can play almost anywhere so keep him on la panchina too.
A gutsy effort, no question, still playing with a hand tied behind back.

And because Sullivan has us going backwards when we are attacking in the red zone, they aren't able to mount pressure or any repeat sets, and that is putting Souths under pressure when the Broncos get the ball and run it out.
The missed tackles hasn't helped either.
I have been skeptical about Sullivan in defence but tonight he was outstanding. His attack is still just ok.

Bayleigh Bentley-Hape - 133 metres, mostly very tough runs out of our own end, 3 tackle breaks, almost an awesome try assist that was called back. He is growing fast in just his 4th game in the top grade. Deserves a rap.

Tassy was huge in the 2nd half creating the break that he then backed up to score and putting in heaps of effort - also 133 metres.

Keaon, 73 minutes at prop was May-like and ran for 194 metres and made 36 tackles. No way he goes back out onto the edge after that.

Aitken 47 tackles from edge and 100 metres - really rolled his sleeves up.

Havili was great playing 69 minutes, getting the boys forward well , making his tackles and getting that crucial 1st try to get us back into it after halftime.

Hubby tackled the big Brisbane boppers all night and held the middle together for us.

Latrell though, we may forget he dropped Haas to save a try after he tore through in the first half as well as saved another try from a kick before then a 3rd try save, putting Mariner over the sideline in one of the best try saves you'll likely see this year and then wins the game off his boot and with a cheeky late try.

Great team effort but they were the standouts for mine.
