Jye wasn’t that impressive at 6 last night. Compared to his output at fullback.
Trell is out for 1 week.
Jye is the best option at 1. Hands down.
Jack could play 6. Schuster could play 6. Picking a kid who’s clearly out of his depth in first grade to leave Jye in a position he’s not ready to play is ridiculous.

Bentley-Hape is a young kid playing his 2nd game. Some come into first grade and brain it from the outset but most take time to find their feet. He'll be better for the experience but we shouldn't expect young kids to play like seasoned Test players from the get-go.

Schuster is playing 6 today in NSW Cup in a side that is full of names half of which I have never heard of because they are fill-ins from Blacktown Workers and Jersey Flegg. Still, if he can impress against a stacked Eels side despite another likely thrashing on the cards, he could be a show for next week considering this is, what, his 3rd game back?

Lord knows what the side will look like next week. Even Wayne would be scratching his head a this stage I reckon.

Wayne was a very good winger, not a fullback so probably not an option.

Latrell tried to lower his body to the point where he was almost squatting but, the midget coming at him slipped down even lower than scrotum level so that what would be a normal legs tackle for an adult sized human became a concussion for a tot on ice skates.

I had a kid run into me at a duty free shop at an airport once and the father gave me a filthy look like I was a child abuser when I was simply standing my ground and didn't even see the little bloke coming. It was not an escort I tells ya! I helped the kid up and the father tells me to watch out! I had to politely but strongly assert to the gentleman that he do a better job of supervising his youngster for his own sake. He took it oh so well. Not.
