Wonder how close to a million it got with regionals and kayo / foxtel.

I mean it depends on what you mean by Allstars and ripping off who. NRL definitely has a better product on this though, players and league care about representative fixtures like this and Origin, where the AFL has cared much much less.

The modern version of the Indigenous Allstar game for the NRL started in 2010. The modern version of the AFL one started in 1994 - but the AFLs commitment to the event has been pretty average at best., although theyve apparently promised to do better now. Both codes ran versions of it well prior to the recent editions going back decades.

Hmmm, I don't own a TV so I don't see much FTA stuff unless it's the NRL season and I stream it on my rig. I forgot all about this game. I haven't seen a game of cricket in 6 plus years or anything outside the NRL season. I just can not sit and listen to idiots anymore, they (on Tel lie vision) make me want to through up with all the agendas. I've felt so much better since disconnecting.

Just a casual mention I was there at Commbank, people been bagging that game have got no idea, the passion in the crowd was unsurpassed, and despite the slippery track and a bit of dropped ball no one can doubt the passion on-field. And what a last quarter.
If the NRL let this game go they need their heads read, no other sport in OZ or NZ can come close to this, publicity gold amongst our Indigenous Oz and Kiwi friends. They can take this game anywhere.
