regionals ARE included in all reporting - including VOZ - particularly since the introduction of VOZ. Its ALL inclusive - metro, regional and bvod

sigh. I thought that was clearly sarcasm. Ive reported regionals whenever the data was available since 2013. The media havent always done so, but that doesnt mean the data doesnt exist.

In any case, it has absolutely always been included in my weekend posts since VOZ was introduced April 30, 2023.

I think the problem for AFL is that more and more people are only watching youtube and other streaming things and so that is the habit they are in.
I can honestly say that we only even think about free to air TV when the RL is on. Then we will remember it and flick over. I haven't turned 7 on or 10 in possibly a year or watched any type of free to air news. Thusly, it is very easy to forget AFL even exists.
That is similarly a problem for NRL in Vic, SA, WA no doubt, but you can get some traction with SOO.
