Great game

Tigers had so much ball

We did a lot of stupid things that should’ve cost us the win but didn’t

Our spine is weak though dunno if wighton goes to six

Walker is past it

Congrats souths

beyond frustrating game, it felt like every set souths made 35m and we made 55m. Souths never earnt their way downfield, we invited them. If I were our forwards I’d be furious at the halves/backs

no idea what the team will look like next week, our main 3 halves and Centres out against arguably a top 2 form team away, awesome

I fear you are one of my sad Tigpies cousins.

Wahs are pretty good. Tough, got some strike and somehow Tanah Boyd has become a legit halfback. I'd bet on Wahs 13+ and at least if you get flogged you'll be up.

I thought Luai really let the Tigers down last night. Their middles and back 5 meant they dominated field position, and with all that good ball he created nothing. They played too one-out in our 20m. We defended very well but didn't really have to defend much shape.

Other than 2-3 great bombs Doueihi didn't offer much either.

Jye Gray best on field.

Hit the nail on the head really.
We are just a really good organising half away from being a decent side… also missing T’oa and May in the centres hurts too.

it pisses me off how good Jye Gray is but good on him

We basically had our wingers at centre (Tito and Heamasi) with two reserve graders on the wings. I think Latu Fainu could have been a difference maker. Not really a game manager yet but he has a very strong running game which could have helped us. Basically does what AD does but a lot better.

That said I thought we were heading for a bottom 4 finish this year so the start hasn’t been too bad. The football is definitely better than I expected.

Fair call. I think if T’oa and May play we win that game.. I know we’re depleted, but two inexperienced teenagers defending next to each other against some of the top edge players in the game was always going to be a tough ask
