If Turuva plays centre as reported the result will be the same. Skelton on the wing has a bad habit of jamming in on the opposing centre leaving his opposite winger unmarked. A hatrick to AJ is on the bingo card. Graham is a big loss but it’s still Souths by 20.

The Tigers have improved and neutral supporters would like them to make the top 8 but I’ll reserve my judgement of them until I see them grind out a couple of wins. If the truth be told that match against the Cowboys was basically handed to them on a platter by the referee in the first 20 minutes. Sure they looked flashy but the jury’s still out. Trying to grind it out against Souths will be a good challenge for them.

Years ago when coaching Manly Des thought it would be a good idea playing T Rex in the centre. To say it didn’t go well is an understatement .

Jeral Skelton to centre will have Souths’ left attacking edge kicking it’s lips.

Doubles to AJ and Latrell. A meat pie to David Fifita.

Souths by 20
Trex was a lazy prick with a bit of talent.
Skelton is an average first grader, probably misses out on our best 17 but will give you 100% every game and is a solid replacement

Turuva in the centres would be diabolical

Skelton’s output was poor in his last game for the Bulldogs 2 years ago in the finals match against Manly. Minimal hit ups. Should have scored in the right corner but was collared by a great Koula covering tackle. If Fox hadn’t gone looking for his phone charger he would have walked that try in. A real sliding door moment in the Bulldogs’ season. It’s a funny game Rugby League.

It's round 3. I'm hopeful this year will see a big improvement, but.... The last few years speak for themselves....

This could be a very good match.

Leaning Souths. Expecting points from both sides.

Always gonna maintain that the Bears trying to move to Gosford instead of leveraging their position on the North Shore was dumb shit but it's a shame we don't have a team full time up there.
