I can’t see how putting Schneider on at lock for stint, is better than giving Papa or Henry the extra minutes. That doesn’t make sense to me.

We played with a three forward rotation all season, dropping to two forwards on the bench didn’t cost us the game, if it was the issue, Schinder would have gone into the middle.

Ivan did what he thought was right at the time but they would of looked into the season and would be looking for improvement.

Any team that doesn't win the comp, reviews the season and looks for improvement.

You contradict yourself, You say the side run out of steam but yet the bench use across the season had no part in it

We had 5 games we had fade outs that we didn't used to have. We had like 60 games in a row if we led at half time we won.

Last year was a different story

Cowboys at home, we had a 10 point lead at half time. We actually used the full 17, That was probably still because of trying to get over Vegas.

Cowboys up there - we had a 10 point lead run down. Went to extra time and Schneider no game time

Titans we had a huge lead at half time. Again extra time
No Schneider
Patea got 10 mins.

Storm and Canberra

Back to back extra time games. No Schneider used.

So we had to make ground up from our poor start, got through Origin

Then went to GC
Newcastle
Back home
Mudgee

3/4 games in extra time. 3/4 games when we used only 16.

So it was more than just the Prelim that the lack of bench seemed to hurt us late in games.

Ive said this before. 4 forwards just means a guy like Leota gets less minutes.
If they are capable of 50mins at a 8/10 level why would you replace it for a 7/10?

We ran out of steam because the Broncos wrestled the momentum off us, all be it with a few lucky tries and we went searching for points, that’s not our game.

An extra player in the forwards rotation wouldn’t have helped, unless we had gone with no halves or hooker cover.
