Loki Pasifiki Tonga had just asked for an immediate release from his contract at dragons. In my opinion I think hes almost a must buy especially with losing forwards at the end of the year

Is he a much better prospect that the other middle forwards we still have on our books and those who may emerge in 2027-2028. Vailslo is an exciting prospect so we are not short of middle forward prospects.

Probably closer to first grade ready from what I know. Maybe a short 2 year stint here would benefit both parties

I can’t say that I have taken any notice of him from his appearances in NRL last season but hasn’t had a look in this year in a underperforming Dragons outfit so I’m not sure what that says?

Plenty of players we could have said that about these past few years. Garner, Alamoti, Jenkins immediately come to mind.

As I say I have no idea of his ability or otherwise, but aside from the fact we probably don’t have any money to sign him is he a better prospect than we already have? I have no idea.

Off the top of my head I think we have of the younger middle forwards Scanlan, Brown, Lemoto, Arama signed up there are probably one of two others. I tend to think our brains trust appear to think there are NRL quality middles in our own ranks.

Charlie Xureb as well, considered as good as Arama

Well mate, he was being talked up but at such a tender age suffered two horrendous head knocks in his limited appearances. That is a concern for him. Hes a small body too. Hopefully, he can put behind his head knocks and come back bigger and stronger next season

Dragons fans and neutrals are saying it's a loss for them and another reason Flanagan should be sacked.

Apparently Pasifiki Tonga doesn't want out because the Dragons are a rabble. He's upset about not getting more time in first grade. He may or may not deserve that in a crap Dragons team but I'm not sure that will go down well in our system.

Here’s hoping mate, would be a shame if he’s lost to the game,
I’ve seen so many over the years

Vailalo not far off i think. Im not watching cup much but hes young and hes kept Patea on the bench a couple times and Henry last week also. A couple of those guys are close i think, probably wont all get a shot but out of Vailalo, Wigmore and Clarke we are going to see at least 1 debut this year.
