Shibasaki would go as poorly in our team as he's doing for the Broncos side right now.
He has been very good, but also playing outside a team that's been dominating. I wonder how he'd go in a more average team.Sign Jenkins

Of course that's what you wonder about...He has been very good, but also playing outside a team that's been dominating. I wonder how he'd go in a more average team.
Well tbf you don’t have to wonder. Newcastle 2024 was a more average team.He has been very good, but also playing outside a team that's been dominating. I wonder how he'd go in a more average team.

No to Jenkins after last night.
Not many players have yet signed with new clubs for '27:I’m loving the signings we have made for 2027.
serious?
he scored 2 tries in what was an off night for him, I'd still take him in a heart beat but we desperately need a centre not another winger unless we're looking at moving Simmo at centre.

That’s it? That’s half the teams in 2027 who have made at least one signing. The longer we leave it the less players are available. Not many players have yet signed with new clubs for '27:
Barnett (Broncos)
Pezet (Broncos)
Koloamatangi (Dragons)
Haas (Bunnies)
Garrick (Chooks)
Moale (Seagulls)
Trout (Sharks)
Isaako (Storm)
Keeley (Storm)
Hiroti (Titans)
That's it. Plus the Bears who have signed 16 players, but seven of those are from the UK.
That's a dishonest way to look at it. The correct (more granular) way is to look at how many roster vacancies there are for 2027. Across all 18 teams it's about 200 vacancies. 26 of those have been filled by external signings, which is just over 10%.That’s it? That’s half the teams in 2027 who have made at least one signing.
I doubt we're refusing to make any offers. But just throwing cash at merkins out of FOMO isn't the way to balance the salary cap.The longer we leave it the less players are available.

We are replacing Pezet internally, and probably Russell as well. Our SG Ball wingers, if they're going to become first graders, should be ready next year, if not this year. Russell and Penisini both made their NRL debuts at 19.Barnett replaces Haas.
Haas replaces KK
KK would replace any of those dragon middles and some
Garrick replaces Marky Mark
Isaako replaces Walbrick
Trout replaces Talakai
you see what I'm doing here?
who replaces Pezet and Rusty?
we are that f**king passive when it comes to recruitment it's not funny.
