Both worth 300k Max on our cap anyone then you are pushing it
Well we don't know how much they're getting paid, so whether they are worth their salaries is pointless discussion. The question is whether they are good enough to be signed, and they definitely are. Obviously it would've been better to sign Farnworth and Munster but they weren't available.

No its exactly what they are getting paid. Thats what the question is and should be...

They are not long term prospects foe the club just a fill in and a backup you dont spend more than 300k on backups or a fill in.

Fill ins are worth as much as any long term player. They just get a shorter contract, not a cheaper one. In fact, for a club with cap space and nobody available, the last minute signing is likely to benefit from this sort of windfall. Pezet could've been on $300k at the Storm, which is likely why they were happy to move him on. He was a backup there while at our club he is competing for a top 19 spot. Kelly left a club where he was a top 17 player, and wouldn't have done that for a pay cut.

He was fine at 34. Is 35 the magic number now?
