Watched the first bit of League Life last night before having to head to the bathroom to vomit. It was basically an exercise in cleansing Mitchell Pearce of his demons in the eyes of the greater public, and particularly those feminist types in the media who would rush into print should he be selected for NSW (which was no doubt the whole point of it).

It's disappointing to watch Sampson at her new gig. Whereas she was herself at Nine, she appears to be being told what to say. She's no better than the blonde bubblehead Yates. The remaining two Hannah Hollis and Lara Pitt seem to have much greater knowledge of the game and perform very well. Unfortunately Sampson is now little more than a chubby cheerleader.

I do agree with you that the Pearce interview was like a sales pitch to the NSW selectors to pick him as halfback.

Regarding your point on Yvonne, I've said this before, but although she got more money for jumping ship to Fox, she seems out of place on the Fox panels (League Life and the pre-game/post-game panels), and fit in much better at Ch9 when she was working alongside Joey/Fittler/Lockyer

Professor is the worst thing to happen to Fox's coverage. I can't stand the unfunny merkin. As soon as the siren goes in the game before his show the channel gets changed, and if he pops up on anything else I watch it gets FFW. His fat little sidekick can go f**k himself too.

I understand your point with League Life, but on Thursday night & especially Super Saturday she is a strong contributor who has a good balance of input with the ex-players.

League Life should only have 3 females on it. With 4, they're competing against each other for time & their chance to ask questions with guests.

What is wrong with having Vossy and Jimmy Smith on a couple of these talk shows. Jimmy has some interesting points of views and speaks bloody well. He is also a former NRL player. Is it because he never played rep footy?? I am sick of looking at and listening to dunderheads. Get rid of Hodges and Parker and severely reduce Tallis.

I think the 'same shows' complaint is more that its the same damn show repeated over and over. Like the exact same episode replayed all night.

Professor style show would be great, if it were funny and not the same cheap laughs he's been doing since his 3min skit on MJ show like 2 or 3 years ago where he just did the voice over and never appeared in person till last year. 3mins a week was okay, now he's everywhere (Fox 8 even ??).
