28 points will get you in this year I feel. Very even at the top spreading the points evenly across the table & keeping top 8 entry very low.
An interesting note is that our first grade have already used 34 players our U20's 37 players.
That count is for a team at the end of the season after a poor year.
Our teams reached that number before the halfway mark.

Little difference though. Its too many for a successful season, hence why we are both last.

That run of 9 weeks without a win means our season is probably shot.
But sport is a very funny thing - we are only 8 points adrift of 8th spot.

Any future success we have depends on how Gallen comes back - but more specifically how Seymour comes back.

He has points in him and it's no coincidence our bum year coincides with his bum form.

If he comes back the player he is and injuries are kind to us we can at least turn our year around.
Barrett, Seymour and Porter will provide a kicking platform to apply pressure and play at the money end.

Probably unrealistic to expect to make the 8 but we're too good a side to expect another dry run like the one we've had.

You've got to pick yout best 17 and worries about positions later.

Realistically we're looking at next year - as much as I detest that cliche - so Porter needs as much game time as possible.

barret would move into the back row without a problem.

He's more of a ball runner than a creator of plays anyhow.
