India in the field were much more sharp in the previous series and even in the World Cup than these games, to me that's the main difference because they are still scoring runs.

Kohli had Dhoni to handle the middle overs and now he doesn't. It's a noticeable difference.
Rohit Sharma is also a massive loss. He scores runs for fun against us in ODI’s.

India are missing Rohit Sharma more than Dhoni.

But it's not the batsmen fault that they've lost, it's that their bowlers have been unable to stop an Australian batting line-up that are in unbelievable form, especially Smith and Maxwell.

Seems like that wicket is the sort that Sharma would enjoy?

But yeah, their bowling has been terrible...

Think the Covid world and it's complications might lead to some poor touring performances? But regardless, isn't it great that we're having cricket!?!? Feels almost normal here, hopefully that's the case in Straya too

It is just way too easy to score runs in ODIs these days. If they are getting 380 at the SCG, they will get 500 at Manuka on Wednesday.

They need to bring the bowlers back in to the 50 over format. I would much rather watch a team struggle to 220-250 on a wicket that offers something for the bowlers where they can try and take wickets.

Smash and bash should be left to the T20 format.

I was at the WACA 7 or 8 years (maybe longer) ago and watched a game that Australia got rolled for 180 and South Africa chased it down 7 or 8 wickets down.

It was far more entertaining watching the ball beat the bat with something in the pitch for the Bowlers than the boundary pinball that ODI Cricket has become.
