The weather over here at the moment (in Leeds) is absolutely disgusting. It's a top of 14 and pouring rain. Summer ended overnight.

Am I alone in realising that Michael Holding is the worst commentator in any sport? Acknowledged as one of the greats, Richie Benaud says that a TV commentator is there to ADD to the pictures, not merely describe what anyone else can see. Holding spends half his time describing what we have all seen in action, and the other half reading out statistics that appear on screen. Pointless.

It sux that over the last few years, TV has a delay. Gone are the glory days where the sound on the TV can be turned off and the action heard from the superb ABC radio commentary team whilst watching live. Their coverage is world-class.
