Whilst I'd love to win the world cup I just don't see it happening. We don't deserve it. Besides the real prize we already lost this summer.

based on whats happened during the world cup, not sure any team "deserves" it. Every top nation has had its hiccups or poor game(s) throughout the tournament so far

Its anyones cup really, 3 more wins will get you the trophy. We have a good as chance as any, we bring our A game to the table over the next 2 weeks, we win it, regardless of what anyone else does

Really hope we smash the subbies.

Then we can hear them whinge that the competition format wasn't right and its a disgrace how they've lost so many TV viewers as a result.

I agree with you but we don't deserve it based on the selectors, coach and captain more so than just how we have played. Still hope we win but if we lose something might happen to get these clowns that are destroying cricket in Australia gone.

A couple of weeks ago
"Hadds, sometimes I think the game can get a bit easy for him. He scores really freely and probably just gets a bit carried away with scoring as easily as he does. He needs to pull the reins back in a little bit, work the ball around in those middle overs. He still scores quickly - he's got that ability to score boundaries that other blokes don't have. He and Watson are really big keys for us. They both know that. I'm sure we'll see them play well."

Now
"The middle-order would seem blame-worthy but the top order too has some part to play in that disappointing result.
"They ate up too many balls, played too many dot balls and that cost us."

oh for sure, if we do win it it will tell you how crap the other sides are considering the bumbling antics and selections of our mob

we lost the ashes on home soil, it cant get bigger than that, what has been done about the hierachy?

f**k I hope we win, I'm sick of Indias sh*t when it comes to cricket. Just read a,story that indias national paper ran a front page story in their paper about how Australian players met with gangsters before our game vs Zimbabwe. If that sh*t doesn't fire us up, nothing will

we have beaten india in 9 ODI out of the last 15 on their home soil, and this is post mcgrath, gilly era. We just need to stay composed in all facets, lets the pressure get to india, which it wil lat some point, then go for the kill when we have an aooportunity (Punter take note)
