Well I'm sure we've all done stufpid things in the heat of the moment that we regret later.

Also just on the coverage last night in regard to it being on an hour's delay. On another message board I post on I posted a message about you guys being unhappy about it and these were a couple of replys about it.

Was meant to be live but because of the floods in qld it was delayed. Pitty the people of qld don't realize that before blasting channel nine. It was done so people of qld could follow what's going on in there own city, which is surly more important then a game of cricket!?

Well I've always been of the view that perhaps a game of cricket or something could be a good thing to help people take their mind off their troubles. By all mean break in if there's a development though

The anger stems from 9 having multiple channels in which to put BOTH flood information AND cricket on for those that want to watch it. Even last night 7 put the Aus Open final on the main channel but had their rolling coverage on 7Two for a while. Then to have Wally Lewis have the balls to say that we'll pick up the game from ball 1 at 7:30 (on an hour's delay), and to have the live watermark underneath when it clearly wasn't was almost the final straw. Up in the regions we were bloody lucky that the internet problems were fixed this afternoon, otherwise there would have been zero live coverage (ABC don't use NewsRadio like they have in the past during bushfires in Vic these days, saying tune into digital radio which will maybe NEVER get up to CQ, or online which until 5:00 this afternoon we didn't have).

Plus the majority of the affected areas wouldn't have been able to watch it (NO POWER), and many I'm sure would love to at least watch something else to give them hope rather than either continue to be devastated over flood images, or be fed the same crap every 5 minutes that we knew 2 hours ago.

Well you can draw your own conclusion there.

I think the Sri Lankans have their priorities with 20/20 cricket. They probably don't get paid much for playing test cricket for their country, so they're putting the effort where they can make more money. Disappointing but hard to blame them.
