Martin Guptill is a truly horrible test batsman. I'd hate to see his record if you take away his centuries against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

He's f**king terrible...

The only reason he's in there is because he had a good run of form In the world cup.

Thankfully Latham looks like he's found a spot for himself after he was shuffled up and down the order a bit... He looks good as an opener.

If Brownlee could open I'd go with him... If not I'd move McCullum up to open... Maybe move Brownlee to 4 and Taylor to 5.

I don't know why they haven't gone with Brownlee at the top. The guy is very good against pace and has scored very well recently for ND, and has previously done very well for us on bouncy decks in Australia and SA.

Nobody wants to see that - another flat track bully, but the track needs to be flat and the attack poor

Seriously - Rutherford and Guptill shouldn't be there, and Brownlie and Flynn should be - Brownlie no question should be opening on Australian/RSA conditions

Good to see Smith intimidated by Kane - nice review :lol:
