It hasn't been a spinners paradise since they re-turfed in mid-1990s.
That’s what I thought but still a lot of talk about it...

Maybe we should just bring an opener over and play Astle and Henry

Just need to show some fight with the bat, been woeful even given the quality of the bowling. Watling looked like he was up for a fight but got a brute of a ball... the rest made mistakes when under pressure... Latham, Williamson, Taylor, Nicholls and Watling simply need to do more to at least retain a smidgen of pride/respect

Disaster series for NZ.

Their win over the shitmerkins recently should have counted for test championship points. Feel bad for them that this series does count and they're getting trounced.
Yeah that’s weird..,

Australia have been incredibly good though and our preparation, selections and performance simply poor

It was like the past decade or so talking about the WACA pace /bounce.

Used to play tests there late Jan / early Feb when it had baked hard.

When the schedule was blocked as Tests Nov to SCG/New Year and ODIs in January, the WACA test was mostly played early/mid December.

Still didn't stop the numpties saying WACA wasn't like it used to be blah blah blah.

The biggest killer these days is no one tours any more to get acclimatised. Just lob up and play a nuffy side for 3 days and straight in to a test.

There's not really any time to prepare or tour they way they used to, though.

NZ were playing Tests against England a few weeks ago.

Mock all you like but he was a f**king lionheart in those rebuild years 2008-2013. Never shirked his duty. Never sulked. 220+ wickets in 67 tests.
Should have had two dozen more if some of the f**ktards he played with during that era could hold a catch.
Worst ever Aussie bowler to take 200 wickets, giving amazing rim jobs kept him in the side the last 5 years. Massive suckhole.

No game going straight to a day night test in Perth was as bad as it gets... well aside from how our squad was selected ... this test is more disappointing

Siddle retires... decent career that
