Im hoping that this is short term pain that will make us better in the long run. surely we are learning more here than batting on that shit waca pitch last year

We've been struggling and collapsing on decks that seam, swing or spin since 2008. And nothing every seems to be done.

The Argus report was a total waste of time.

But if we are playing on them all the time or at least more often it will help in the long run. its going to take a long time to sort out because we just suck right now

We might be in a spot of bother here.
If we get much lower we'll find ourselves in China. Might find someone there who can bat for longer than 5 minutes so that could be something.

But yeah might as well just switch to T20 mode. No one can survive long enough anyway.

Problem is the players who are failing on them will be dropped and new front foot plodders will be brought in and continue to have no idea to play the moving ball.

Yes thats a problem.

I think and i might be wrong but the rot is starting in shield cricket

The smith innings is a prime example of how to bat on these wickets. bat for a long and decision making gets easier
