They have but its a long pattern of australia collapsing under pressure. we are giving up a lot of run outs and warners dismissal was just shocking.

I think the "modern way" is to not start farming the strike until number 11. that said its horses for courses. smith should have farmed it for starc even.

Maybe thats another issue. players are too trusting on what a computer or coach says and they have less match awareness.

I grew up watching AB farm the strike for years, He batted with Dave gilbert once who hardly faced a ball in an hour. Because lets face it this so called moron whoops modern way isn't working.
