so 3 days of rain to start the match? That sucks, was looking forward to some test cricket over the weekend

At this stage, these look like our changes for the 2nd test

Voges fit passed to play
Burns in for SMarsh
Mennie in for Siddle
and they are deciding between Fergo and MM

Being a rain affected match, you would imagine we go with 6 bats, and MMarsh out

Wouldn't put it past our nitwit selectors to play ferguson at 6 (which I agree with) but then play M Marsh in Siddles position

Won't be three straight days of rain.
Sunday is the most likely day for a washout.
I hope there is quite a bit of play today before showers/rain sets in ... and Monday should see some play too since it will only be showers.

So those wanting four day test matches might be in luck

I think the Adelaide test is a lottery, our best chance of a win.

We might be fortunate that rain may shorten this test and we get away with a draw. In any case I wont see a ball bowled this weekend as work beckons "sniff"

Hobart doesn't need a rain affected game after the poor crowds of recent years.

I can see an improved effort from Australia with Hazelgood in the wickets and smith with runs.

Shots like that makes me think Warner should be a middle order batsman. He really is not an opener with any patience at all.

Terrible shot selection on a pitch doing a bit.

Listen to Taylor and Warne defending Warner... that was a dreadful shot. Your team gets sent in on pitch with a bit of moisture and cloud cover around and he goes after a ball heading towards 1st slip in the first over of the day.

Hasnt worked before. He is a opener but he only works if the rest of the team bats smart and steady
