2nd Test: Australia v South Africa at Hobart on Nov 12-16, 2016

Won't be three straight days of rain.
Sunday is the most likely day for a washout.
I hope there is quite a bit of play today before showers/rain sets in ... and Monday should see some play too since it will only be showers.

So those wanting four day test matches might be in luck

Personally, the biggest revelation about this test is my awesome weather forecasting skills. To all the Indian bookies who want to take advantage of my new-found skill, my phone number is: 3825-633

We need to make 500+ to save this test

The good news is, we usually rack up 500 in an innings in a Hobart test last few years. just means we need to do it in the 2nd dig

At least we've got 2 Dar Review System appeals up our sleeve. The Saffas are all spent so hopefully any dodgy decisions go our way.

I was listening to ABC Radio after the close of play last night. Funny how far ahead of themselves commentators get sometimes.... With Khawaja and Smith not out at stumps, Katich and Nannes were talking about what sort of lead Australia might have by the end of day 4 if they could bat all day.... and how dependent it all was on Khawaja and Smith getting through to lunch.... less than half an hour in, plans scuppered!! LOL!

LOL, yeah, Australia to score at 4.5 runs and over, and either be all out by lunch or a good lead at the end of the day....

Dar's right up there atm

Smith's strike rate becoming a problem, how dare he bat for half an hour without a boundary, let alone a run... un Australian of him
