He won't get a flatter track or a less threatening attack for several years. Today was his chance and he choked.

I agree 100% but he wasn't the first and won't be the last player to get out in the 90's...

I said in Brisbane that I liked Sulieman. He looks good when he tosses it up. Starting from so high must make picking his length tough.

Yep he is very consistent but he doesn't get enough tons for all his starts IMO. His only downfall is his conversion rate IMO.
Exactly my point. Should have half a dozen more tons to his name.

This inning and Brisbane, at least one of the two 50s in Durban, Sydney and Perth last year, and one of his 50's in India should have been converted.

A damn shame for Watson ... Steve Waugh did it (dismissed in the 90's) more than any other in Test cricket from memory. He ain't in bad company. It would've been a perfect reply to his poor 1st Test with the bat. His effort is nothing to sneeze at which is also coupled with a fine bowling performance.

Tugga's early career stats are very similar to Sunshines - after 13 tests he had 485 runs at 28. But he was only 21 and it was when the ranks had been thinned by the Rebel tours.

Disgraceful from Ponting, he really should not get out to the pullshot after making a start.

27 tests's. But he was mainly batting in the middle order. Sunshine is apparently an opening batsman.

In 5 tests as opener his average is 48

though the jury and the pressure is still out there, he needs to keep performing and improving

Punter out

Terrible shot by Ponting, and Hussey is digging a hold for himself. Clarke really should be batting at 4 now IMO.

Yep Clarke or Watson at 4 with Hussey enjoying playing for WA. Hughes or Jaques need to be in the team IMO.

Hussey has been horrible today looks hopeless IMO.
