Looking to the ashes we clearly have a great bowling side whereas England have a great batting side, our batsman look like they have no technique and play to much 20/20

our top order needs to start converting those 20s into 50s

We all love Smithy mate. But it's ridiculous that he won't bat 3 and is happy to see Cam Green thrown to the wolves instead

Head is our second best after Smith and he is better suited to the middle order. We don't move him from 5.

Its the same argument for Smith at 3. He has played most of his cricket at 4 but averages higher at 3. Just eases a little bit of pressure off Green if Smith bats higher as well. Its honestly a no brainer.

12-24 months ago Smith should have moved to 3 and Labs should have started opening. Its what I'd be instructing Labs to do for QLD when shield starts.
