Well he needs to as some kind of atonement now that he's blatantly run young Hameed out....deadset could not have stitched him up worse if it was a deliberate thing. Awful.

Joe just rooted young Hameed. There was never 2 but root called him for the second then stopped and sent him back with no hope.

The toss has destroyed this match, as soon as India went in to bat first they just had to get somewhere decent enough and the pitch will do the rest.

Especially now that Root tossed his wicket away for free.

Especially now that Root tossed his wicket away for free.

I'm more and more liking the idea of ditching the toss and giving the away team the choice of what they want to do.

Will reduce the amount of taylor made wickets like India dish up.
