I love the follow on and despise follow on phobia. Hard to see any team would with all the factors these days though.

we still have some substantial issues, but good to see fight and we’re actually still a good test team

nice to burst their bubble tbh, the Bazball shit was getting tiresome

he’s interesting, clearly it’s bigger than cricket for him, and the result isn’t everything, so it does liberate people to play without fear…. But a fight back, good cricket and pressure shows some cracks. The Ashes will be interesting…

Doesn't McCullum hate the bazball term though.

It's just stuck through the media and probably will stick.

Yeah he does, but it’s clearly his influence

playing without fear is interesting, but isn’t always going to work. Be interesting to see how they respond to that, until the last few days we were poor tbh. Real shame there’s no 3rd test

Yeah must be a cost thing they dont play 3 tests because NZ are hosting Australia next year for just 2 tests but generally play 3 when over here.

Stokes spoke pretty well, immediately after the finish. Was gracious. Said that while you’d want to win, it was pretty special to be a part of that match and as a fan of cricket, it was great to watch

Even when we’re good nobody gives a shit, we’re unfashionable battlers
Does today win cleanse the soul a touch after what happened the 2019 WC final from a kiwi cricket fan perspective.

Different format obviously but still you probably got one back on England after the Tied final.

Nah, I'm not sure that trauma can ever be erased. This was a dramatic win against England, but there isn't any sour taste in the mouth for England. They lost clean.
