Anyone else wanna join me in lol@Guptill?

I'm not sure what it is, I just don't like the guy. Maybe its because the NZ commentators talk him up so highly, but ive rarely seen him score runs against quality oppisition.

He can obviously play, but I'm just not a fan.
Agree with all of what you said. He has the talent, but is nothing more than a minnow basher tbh.

Looks like McCullum and Taylor will need to score 100 each before Barry Richards gives them any credit.

He's got a good attitude. Turned down playing in the IPL to play county cricket and work on his batting

This rain is helpful, somewhat, to New Zealand's chances of posting a respectable first innings total. Days 2 and 3 are supposedly going to be significantly better batting conditions. In saying that, NZ needs all the time they can get to bowl SA out twice with our bowling attack.

NZ doing what NZ does.

McCullum - without a doubt one of the dumbest players ever to play international cricket for a prolonged period. The guy is incapable of learning.

Third time in history that a Test team has lost four wickets for zero runs- perhaps the first time a Test team has lost five. And it wasn't our tail; McCullum, Taylor, Williamson, Vettori, Bracewell...
