Just started, McIntosh dropped with Guptill now opening and Williamson at first drop and Franklin at 7. We're 43/1.

McCallum on the end of a very ordinary decision (LBW) and Guptill got away with a huge edge behind to the keeper.

Williamson looking good

arrrrggghhhh I put the curse on him

Williamson got for 21. Harper wasn't going to give that out either; he must not be able to hear the knicks over the wind.

46/2

I'll have to try a reverse mocker.

I bet Taylor and Guptill won't get 100's

A small gripe. Why is Franklin batting at 7? He should be at 6, ahead of Young.

I reckon it's time for Franklin to secure a spot, has promised a lot with the bat in domestic cricket and now recently in ODI's so needs to make a score or take some wickets this match and lock down a spot.

Bang Bang

Guptill gone for a streaky 29, Ryder gone first ball.

98/4

We'll need Taylor and Franklin to score runs today

We were right in this test for 5 balls.

Can't blame them for batting first. We did the same in college when we were rubbish, get the game over and done with.

Not bad this morning; to end up around te 350 mark wouldn't be the worst dig

Vettori should bring up a century. Hopefully I don't do a Meth

Southee gets an early breakthrough- Hafeez is out, but we're not quite sure how
