If Marsh and Paine can negotiate the first 45-60min this morning then I wouldnt be surprised if we are still batting come morning of day 5.

Their tail batted with ease, our tail are no mugs but the crucial thing is seeing off the first hour without loss, they will be fresh and getting right up us.

Could still end up a draw. With some runs on the board 300+ we may have a sniff tomorrow, but we need to earn it today.

Come on Levers write your name in the history books with another majestic 150..

Doom and gloom for some, but realistically there's nothing wrong with losing a match (andwe haven't lost yet) to an AB hundred.

I’m happy we didn’t completely collapse for 100-120 like have been doing the last couple of years, we will probably lose but at least the wheels didn’t come of. One good partnership and we’re probably on top though

Australia to bat all day, big call!

I hope you’re right but it’s about 100-1

Well done to Khawaja on his innings. More of that please.

Shame he got when he did. At 4/180 odd you can almost start to think there's a chance.
Good stuff from Mitch Marsh too. Proving to be an unlikely hero.

A 200 run lead could be interesting. A long way to go though before that happens.

Well, let's see:

Warner for a 100 - nope
Eels to win - nope
Aust to win - still a very small chance - but we all know no ground can hold MMarsh

But your tipping ain't going so well

Hopefully these blokes can come up with some sort of plan bowling to De Villiers next test. At least Rabada won't be there to humiliate our poor old batsmen for the rest of the series

57 run lead

I think we will all be over the moon if Cummins can get his maiden test 50 here today
