I think the reference is to starting sets with hitups - he's certainly on the small side, but fullbacks also take hitups - Alex Johnston has had a fair career for someone not in the modern mould.

Im not sure how long he can keep masquerading as an nrl winger. Hes basically a fraudster.
Which is an indictment on the people selecting him
Which sends out all sorts of red flags about their competency to operate a successful team

Size is a big issue for Tauipiki anywhere in the 17 and certainly on the wing. He kinda reminds me a bit of Motu Tony- a lot of talent but it’s hard to find a fit. Who knows? Maybe he’ll change the game

Not sure what point im trying to make, but i would back Tuaupiki to make a Tiny wright on Meninga tackle, over Kosi, everyday of the week.

how big was Sam Perrett? Theres ways and means to take hit ups. Tuaupiki is elusive and generates metres without having to drive through tackles with blunt force like a Kosi.
