I don't know how to do it, but someone here who knows how to do it should tape and upload more recent calls from Talkin' Tripe....sorry, I meant Sport.
Jamie Ainscough was the other one. They couldn't figure out where he played before Newcastle. I think Hughes suggested it was Easts (he played for Wests.)
Pretty sure Pappy was on that day as well and he didn't pull them up on it either as he was playing at Easts at the same time Ainscough was at Wests.
If they were 1% computer-literate, they could've just simply gone to stats.rleague.com or www.rugbyleagueproject.org to determine that Ainscough didn't play for Easts
f**king Pappy should have known. He played at Easts at the time Ainscough was at Wests... Mind you he only played half a dozen games in three years so he probably spent most of his time in rehab than at training.
That would be like sitting in the middle seat of a plane on a long haul flight. On your left is your mother in law, on your right is your wife.....Can we add in Blocker?! Shoot me now. I'm in hell.

7 games in 3 seasons. Must've been injured a hell of a lot.
Could you guys imagine a 2SM commentary team of Graeme Hughes/Brett Papworth/Peter Tunks/Gavin Robertson calling NRL games?

I cant find it but there was a Hilux (IIRC) ad in 92 with a slogan:
Here's something even Brett Papworth couldn't break!
I'm betting that his call will get cut off. Can't wait for Adrian's call tomorrow.
Especially with Tolman at dummy half.
LOL! You sure about that? Would love to have seen itI cant find it but there was a Hilux (IIRC) ad in 92 with a slogan:
