I know I shouldn't have but I still remember having a little chuckle when Darren said he was unemployed. Guy couldn't fit more into the souffs fan stereotype if he tried

Yeah, but Darren wouldn't walk away from the Bunnies just because of a few lean years either.

One of their ads this afternoon, I think it was Gary whats his face who I think comes on after the legendary king of night time radio Graeme "Mr 0.1%" Gilbert, honestly the host was accusing the caller of accidentally clicking on something on the internet - it was like he was giving tech advice. The way they cut their promo ads together is a joke. The only one they ever spend time on is Lawsy's. Only because Norman takes him balls deep sparodically.

What to do - could switch to 2GB and listen to right wing conservatives doing Singo proud?

Hate to requote myself, but to bring back the topic, I heard the ad again today.

Its something like

"Yeah, so I've been getting these emails from Telstra associates.."

"Ok, so what you've done is clicked on something on Telstra's website that allows third parties to contact you."

"No I haven't done that."

"Well that's how its happened".

Thats pretty much the ad highlighting this dude's talkback show. Its not an IT show, or a tech noobs show, its just general night time talk back radio, and this somehow was the highlight that goes on their ad grab. Someone has to be pulling their pud. Imagine going to your boss and saying, "hey Mr show director, listen to this little ripper I've put into the ad." Surely that one passed by without any scrutiny, because I genuinely cannot believe something so lame is such a highlight that they use to try to attract new listeners.

lol - and on their website they have their twitter feed, the third to last twitter feed is Grant Goldman looks back to 1971, the last time the Rabbitohs won a premiership. They're so up with the play this mob.

2sm sure knows how to attract the pseudo intellectuals of our day. Have any of you blokes heard Hugh who rings into the John Laws show? Has to be a gee up. He basically gets on the blower and plays a new song on his guitar that he has written. Always out of key. With no rhythm. Today's song was about love and frogs. I kid you not. High quality.

big hit!

There's some serious headcases. There was one last week called John - called up and wouldn't let John Laws get a word in edgewise, and then accused Laws of trying to speak over the top of him. Meanwhile this John character says he's a first time caller, and he's nervous, and then he launches straight at Laws hoping that he dies soon and says Laws is a liberal goon who's probably on their payroll. I thought it was quite funny in a sense, the biggest liberal goon station is 2GB by the length of the straight. Singo has got his boys to march the right wing vendetta to the enth degree. Laws if anything has been quite open to Bill Shorten and the Labour Party and been quite critical of Malcolm Turnbull's lack of initiative. Not really trying to be political here, but that caller had to be on the goon juice to the max.

That said, I listen purely because I think the way Laws deals with most of them is quite brilliant. And unlike the rest of the 2SM stable, Laws seems educated and has an opinion - right or wrong. The likes of Brent Bultitude sit there day in day out and merely go "well, others might disagree, but I agree with what you are saying", irrespective of what is being put forward by the caller.

With the Ray Price one, its part of a segment called Reeling in the Years. I find most of the interviews interesting because I think the history of league is really cool. But, I must say, what it inevitably turns into is a good interview, then Gavin Robertson pondering and giving the impression he is off with the fairies, followed by an hour of receiving calls lauding the 2SM crew for the interview.

The other night I heard Adrian come on. Papworth absolutely gave it to him. Adrian rang in and said how he really enjoyed the Ray Price interview, and how he would see how Ray Price would be a great leader. Before you know it, Papworth rips into him accusing him of having an opinion not based in fact and how could he possibly say Price was a better leader than any other leader. It wasn't even what Adrian said, but it seems they hate Adrian to the point that they just don't listen. It was embarrasing from Papworth to the max.

Look for when they interview an old RL player from the 70's and Gavin, like clockwork, says "I used to have your footy card".

Has no idea about footy and attempts to mask it with lame shit like that.

Yeah, remember when they used to have chewing gum in the packet?
Remember that, Graham? Ah, the good old days.

I didn't hear the interview but Brett does get quite offensive especially when Adrian has an opinion on Rugby. He would often say "Well I disagree".

The newsreaders can't be in Sydney. The three o'clock news bulletin had such esteemed Sydney suburbs as Or Born (Auburn) and Lid comb (Lidcombe).
