First call of the day, Brickhead. He's just calling in to say he's on a booze bus at the moment, he's just gone to an ARU function ... he's barely audible on his 1997 Nokia 3210. But anyhow, he went to the function, free of charge, and he filled up on the free offerings. He then mentioned later on he didn't eat any food. He was three sheets to the wind obviously. There was nothing of interest that was discussed, he basically just rang to say what he'd done today.

Absolutely hysterical. Apparently it was a reunion of the 1977 Australian schoolboys rugby team. Poor old Brickhead has been calling every day about this function trying to get someone to tell him where it was on. Anyway he made it, which is great. Even though he wasn't actually in the team. You see, it was his brother who was in the team, but Brickhead thought he'd better go along, well....., just to drink free piss, I guess. Actually, that's not right, the reason he wanted to go was to see his brother, because he hasn't seen his brother in 25 years. 25 FREAKIN' YEARS! You're kidding me Brickhead. Anyway, I think his brother was late so Brickhead only saw him briefly before he had to go home - who knows why - maybe curfew.

hahaha. Based on this thread I listened in for about 20 mins yesterday afternoon to hear this bloke carry on about the 1977 reunion lunch that was only somewhere in Manly. Papworth knew sfa about it, but then expressed surprise that it wasn't on in the city. This went back and forward - Manly, City, Manly. That was enough for me.


That this is the punchline of the story is hilarious. Maybe this is just a brilliant comedy act that does the slow reveal / long burn joke better than any before it.

"Everyones talking that Cleary might go to the Tigers and they have had meetings but my mail is that he is holding off because of...blah blah blah". This is after Cleary was photographed coming out of Tigers training this morning. Tunksy is really on top of things.

And then Brickhead gets on explaining he had to get some kid to fix his mobile phone becuase it was on silent. When quizzed about why he had a mobile phone he said he had to get a new one because he had racked up a $2000 bill chasing some woman on Telecafe. Cant make this stuff up.

Then some guy started talking about taking his mother to see Shirley Bassey at the Hilton hotel 6 weeks before his mum died. They put up with it. I had to turn it off.
