I don't think the problem was Noddy or anyone else. I thought that both Dykes and Noddy showed they can make a good combination. One forward on the bench is a joke and Beau Scott adds nothing as an interchange player, and hasn't for weeks.

Yea, because Kimmorley sat back a bit (not enough- he should sit at the back of the field for all I care) and let Dykes play more.

Is it any coincidence that all the tries (bar Albert's 2nd) were set up by Dykes?

NO

Is it any coincidence that all of our points were scored while Kearney was on the park?

NO

That's nothing against Kingston, I think he's a great player, to me that says that Dykes and Kearney are the most potent players in our squad, and that they should run the show.

That game summed up our whole season perfectly:

Bad start-----> Good Middle-----> Horrible slide to finish out of the money....again:(

Edit: beat me to it Inferno

Oh, and George, make sure you close the door as you make your way out.

I was going to give ALby 10 after he saved that try 2 minutes out , but that all went to waste I'll give

3 to Stapleton for flattening Kimmorley to score
2 Benny Ross for having the sense to avoid this season
1 Matty Hilder for getting the hell out of Shark park

Good analysis

And who was off the field at the end Kiwishark ?? Yeah our best attacking option in Brett Kearney - great use of the bench Roper

Exactly. It all adds up.

Kearney + on the field = good

Kearney + off the field = waste

On Quigs' sig Roper is a chimp. How appropriate.

I tend to think that he would be better off in a zoo...... So that we can all marvel at how ignorant, blind and weak he is!

Was that too harsh? Maybe but after 8 straight losses I don't care

again why is it that all the fans can see kearney has been our most likely spark in attack and enthusiastic player that should be on for the entire game (preferably in the halves!!).....yet George is clueless...........

ditto the fact that Beau Scott is useless...actually worse than useless...detrimental!!!

As critical as I am of Roper's selections, a team should never lose when they are up by 20 points mid-way through the second half. That was inept. Poor handling, poor discipline, poor defence.

3. Williams - Has to play prop, just wrong.
2. Villasanti - Is just starting to get fitter.
1. Kearney - 80 minutes please.

Inverse
Raper all of them as usual.
3. For selecting Scott, and playing Scott as a backrower
2. Bench usage in general, very poor.
1. Sitting on the sideline at the end, yelling.

Gotta agree pretty much with Blacktip. I thought this was arguably the best game I have seen Dykes play in NRL.

Which is why he will be dropped to PL next week.

Dykes
Gallen
Kearney

I like that play where Dykes goes to lock and Gall stands out and recives the ball , nice . I know they were ready for it but that sort of attack play asks questions of the defence.

I just can't give Dykes votes for not allowing us to have a shot on the last tackle even tho he played his best game this year.I just can't believe a first grader can do that in a situation which called for anything but runing straight at the opposition and submitting.

Just salt into an already festered wound. Ridiculous.

Alby - well I still don't think he is a FB's shoelace but he played well and its about fuggin time.
