Supposedly he's rehabbed up well. I do hope he can bounce back but not holding my breath. His body just seems so busted even if his head is right, and we all forecast that happening with the style of game he played.

I do miss that Foran.

As usual the kiwis only worry is the depth in the halves. What’s the deal with foran? Is he retired, injured or just badly out of form?

Retired two years ago, injured and out of form.
Once was very good; now playing on reputation alone.
Dogs bought a dud.

On a side note what happens to DWZ when RTS is available again? For me DWS isn’t as effective or influential on the wing as he is at fullback.

I like Wayne Bennett's motto. Pick your best 17 and find positions for them.

If RTS is fit he's first choice fullback.

We could have another injury so he slots in to the injured backline players spot. Or could he play 6??

He would have to be in the side somewhere and I'm guessing he wouldn't care where as long as he's there.

You're right he's most effective at fullback but so is RTS. It's a good problem to have. ;)

Not sure if DWZ can play #6 but if injuries hit the kiwis in the halves I suppose in a one-off situation it’s not a bad shout. He’d be a better option than somebody like tohu Harris or peta hiku.

Officially retired from international rugby 2 years ago?

Hasn’t he got/had major off field problems too?

I was being facetious about him retiring two years ago.
More like he knocked off early.
Still, him leaving did wonders for SJ's paycheck.

3. DWZ, set the tone for the win, he's a more articulate speaker than RTS and therefore when you consider he more than matched RTS for passion for the Jersey - he's a great NZ Captain.

A lot of fans were surprised at his selection as Captain. Just goes to show Fans know only so much from the outside.

2. JWH it's all been said already. He ran well but defended even better.

1. Proctor. Dominant tackle machine, pretty much owned the Roo forwards from the kick off and set the tempo for winning the ruck...the rest of the test flowed from there. Proctors wrestling was outstanding, as good as someone like Mannering.

Brandon Smith was amazing, Joseph Manu could be a great if he sought s out his defence, he and Rapana need Tohu Harris with them to direct them in defence and to put Manu and Rapana into one on one scenarios.

The fact that we are not playing Tonga is criminal, especially given that I think Tonga will take Aussie in a boil over.

Proctors communication was really noticeable during the match. I get the felling it played a big part in that edges recovery from their shaky first 10 minutes. He quite often doesn't get a lot of credit around here, but that was a huge performance from him.
