Ford is exhibit a that stats doesn't always reflect performance.

It's not just the errors. He makes the errors at precisely the wrong time. He misses the tackles on his line. He concedes the set restart at precisely the wrong time.
100% on the timing of the errors, they were all costly.

his positive stats are legitimate though. In the games where he doesn’t make errors at key points he’s effective.

This x1000.

They are always costly. Or they always come when we are about to attack.

Capewell impressed me, I was skeptical but he did a solid job in the centres.

Playing against his old club might've added some spice.

3. Leka - kid dynamite.
2. Clark - see mention below.
1. Barnett - our pack leader and we won the game with our forwards.

Egan - gee, for one of the smaller guys he really made two or three big tackles. They shook the opposition.

Ford was busy with positives but the much discussed errors are a big problem. He would've gotten a point but for those. If we lost I'd be pointing the finger at him.

Kosi, he's a big boy. What's his problem? Though, in regard to that try where he tried to bat it dead (rather than fall on it), I do think he'd lost control of it.

No points for our hero, Metcalf. His goal-kicking was poor. Bugger, I've forgotten about Clark. I knew he'd go hard against Brisbane's 'rock stars'. He's getting two points, Barnett's going down to one, and Egan's dropping out. I'll change it now.

3:Clark
2: Halasima
1: Egan

Felt again we played a team full of mistakes.
Our attack is very poor inside the 20m.
Kosi try off ball to ground, kicked by Tuaupiki, lucky.
Metcalfe try off Broncos mistake that Capewell nearly butchered, lucky

Halasima and Niukore tries looked more like structured plays.
Only 1 repeat set forced. We must be near highest tackled team in opposition 20m (red zone) for least amount of points I would say?

Good win with so many out injuried

Anyone who thinks Ford had a good game needs to see an optometrist and a therapist
If you started watching after 20 minutes, he did. I don't think it's a stretch. He missed the effort for the first Broncos try, lost two balls cold (the one Egan fed him on the line was a tough one) but after that, he was solid. 150m+ and 46 tackles doesn't lie when your top banana prop is out.

3. Clark. Let's not get the sort of MVP point fatigue that led to MJ losing the title to Karl Malone one year, because everyone got bored of voting for him. Clark is a BEAST. He takes us back to the Warriors of old with his physical presence. Plus he can play ball.
2. Barnett. Guy oozes leadership. Played himself into the NSW starting spot, I reckon. Took on Carrigan and won
1. Leka. The guy is 19. Freak.

HM: Niukore has been a different player the last few weeks. Egan is playing at his peak, like we thought he should have last year. Taine was evasive and impressive. Capewell did his job well. Vaimauga ran tough and hard, as well (with a couple of silly errors).

Still frustrates that we really have the least creative halves in the comp. They just have nothing inside the opposition's 20, and we're ending up there a lot.

Metcalf got a little better in the second half, I thought. I am not sure what’s happening though…what is stopping them from dictating?

I couldn’t believe it when Barnett was at first receiver after play restarted on the last tackle in the lead up to Kosi’s try

And we scored off that play!

Metcalf will get better the more time he has, but geez it's going to take a lot of that time.

3. Clark - the guy is just insane, I never thought I’d say we’d sign Clark to replace Tohu and lose almost nothing
2. Barnett - a little underrated sometimes how much he gets the engine room humming. Strong carries and stops guys dead
1. Metcalf - gets my point for a clutch play and shades of effort like backing up Capewell. He’s clearly a 6 not a 7

HM Halasima - I hope we really build these kids into career Wahs and don’t do an Eli Katoa.
Egan very good as always.

Ford doesn’t upset me as much as others, he seems to make the worst errors at the worst time but there’s no arguing effort and work rate. He’s backup for Fish, it’ll do.

Kosi is a mess too, but again I’m a bit forgiving as he’s just backup.

I get it.

Ford’s primary asset is that he plays a lot of minutes, even in the middle, which is noteworthy. If he could cut out the errors, he’d be a good player. But he can’t. So he isn’t.
Completely agree. Kids are so perceptive, mine rattled off a perfect summary of how I feel about players last night. Ford drops one, 'oh Dad that's the guy who always drops it' and 'there's Capewell, you think he's no good' and 'Kosi, why is he in the team'?

Unlike Kosi, Ford isn’t a depth squad player. He is a first grader. Should be held to a higher standard. Isn’t

a prop at first receiver was happening more than a few times. Ford kept getting it and it was doing my head in. He kept hanging around the ruck area and getting hit ups when they should have been doing something else. The commentators were praising the Warriors for having the most plays in the 20 this year. Well, theres a reason for that... Most teams score a try off 1 or 2 sets when they get down there and move on. Not us...

Has there ever been a night where a Warrior is playing in a milestone game and absolutely stunk it up lol. Poor Pompey he was ass last night.

I think Webster was spot on starting Halasima. He was excellent.
Tauapiki should never play in the wet again. Guy gets touched and immediately slides 5m backwards.
Kosi worst player in the squad, worst player in the comp and not even top 5 wingers in Fox memorial.

3. Clark
2. Halasima
1. Barnett

HM the whole crowd in a sellout in those conditions

yeah there’s a little bit of Michael Luck about Ford’s work rate. Big engine but just because he can take a hit up, doesn’t mean that he should. But he does
