Yeah hard to come up with a 321. Mateo was an obvious stand out but it was a pretty poor game.

I think that's a pun, thank god it's the bye and also not having to put up with Lavina 'I don't do questions in interviews, only obvious statements' Good.

Mateo:
14 hit ups
193m
23 tackles
11 tackle breaks
5 offloads
2 line breaks
0 errors
0 penalties

...what a machine. ANY team could win with a ball playing second rower dominating to that degree.
Except us, because we named a team full of bumbling, geniused slugs.

His performances in this game and against the Wests Tigers are the two best performances from a forward at the Warriors in at least 5 years. It is Ali Lauitiiti-esque.

Absolutely agree. Hopefully after the bye and some serious handling and tackling practice, our team can actually make the most of his skills and get some wins!

I'm usually a Hohaia supporter. But there is no doubt in my mind, that two of his plays directly resulted in tries to the storm. He scored one, but ultimately he had a negative game. probably lost it for the Warriors. We need a specialist fullback really badly. We have depth everywhere else.

I take into account the game was against the best team in the comp (no debate here, they were on the weekend the team in 1st place).

The warriors made too many errors and were on the end of some poor reffing decisions. But up till the 74th minute, were well in it and competing.

Elijah Taylor gets my points. He was energetic, athletic and desperate. His best game in a warriors jumper.

For all those Mara fans, did you notice how our momentum fell away when Heremiah went off? Why, because Heremiah gives very good, crisp delivery from dummy half. Mara fluffs, jolts and meanders around while he makes up his mind what he's going to do. Makes me wonder why we are going for an old, injury prone old man from the cowboys next year when Heremiah will be a better player next year! Having said that, so will Mara.

Mateo was good. All of us (for once) can agree on that.

I think Billy Tupou was good and solid and Manu can come back next week after that improvement. But I'd still rather see him doing the finishing rather than the hitups.

The pack was good. They were the match of the Storm. The backs solid. Berrigan did well in attack and defence. For once our wingers held their position and didn't panic and run in.

Like I said, two critical errors at the back cost us the game.

I figure you mean Friend, from the Titans. I wouldn't exactly call him injury-prone - 100 appearances in 5 seasons for them seems a pretty good on-field commitment. I'd certainly have him over any other option.

Agree on Mara, there's been a bit of a boner for him based on him not playing (so it seems) and not proving he's not the answer either. Seeerviceee iss sooo slooow...

Well, he was on the end of a move. Hohaia may be on the scoresheet, but Seymour and the decoy runner (Mateo?) had at least as much to do with that try, if not more

We have no depth in the centres.
