All I can say is thank f**k we didn't let them put 40 on us like we would have in yesteryear.

Fair bit of disruption pre game as well away from home but some players in that team Deadset need to have a look at themselves.

Roger was awful today, rushed back too soon maybe, definitely wasn't himself

3. Gavet - had a real go.
2. Johnson - ditto.
1. Lillyman - ditto.

As mentioned in the game day thread, players need to anticipate when Johnson has a crack at the line, and they need to go with him. It must be hard though, cause he kicks or passes most of the time.

Following the game tonight there were moments when the old feeling came back, when we could've snatched it. You start to move around the house to a different beat, one learnt long ago. But it aint happening.

For starters, they aint snatching a win when they can't snatch a pass, even a basic one. Is it a case of them trying too hard? Jokes aside (are they trying at all?) but, you know, getting desperate for points and pushing it too much, with nerves as well?

Their individual confidence and belief in each other must be terrible. Titans are no pushovers, so next week will be tough, more than tonight perhaps as we'll be really needing a win, and may even fall into the trap of expecting one.

3. Johnson - I don't think I've felt this sorry for him, looked visibly shaken when he busted the line numerous times and everybody around him just let him down.
2. Gavet - Been a staunch defender for a while and glad it didn't backfire.
1. Lillyman - Solid all season so far

Hon mention to Maumalo, he shouldn't get any mentions or points in reality and that speaks of the blokes around him. Mannering gets a pass mark as always.

RTS was horrible, mistakes I can forgive but he was a princess tonight.
Fus looks like he's tired of being jerked around.

Kata, Lisone & Bodene continue to be blunt instruments, Gubb the king of plod, Luke fat and slow, another shitastic performance from Tui

Yeah not good.

Lolohea? Wtf? Did nothing except make the odd wrong decision while Johnson was creating chances from nothing constantly with nobody backing him.

It was hard to find a 1 pointer in that display, so I picked the younger guy who took some chances long after the game was over rather than SJ.

Thompson was Shite. But 50 tackles was a good effort. Taking up the slack when Mannering was off.

Isaac Luke head back to reserves and take a good hard look at yourself.

3 Gavet - I mean, obviously.
2 Johnson - he ran! at the defensive line! keep doing it!
1 Lillyman - has had a nice solid start to the year in an awful pack... every year should be a contract year for him?

You cannot give any points to a forward pack that was completely outplayed. The lazy forwards in the middle are what is losing the Warriors games. Failing to get into the line on broken play and then missing tackles. Failure to get the shoulder into the tackle and win the PTB. I counted about 2 tackles all game where the warriors can claim to have won the tackle.

Last few weeks Bunty and Lisone (and previously Vete) were the most guilty of just going to sleep in the middle and letting players just waltz through.

The complete lack of desperation, except for 2-3 players, is appalling.

Add that to an absolutely rubbish performance by the centres. And to the poster who gave Lolohea points LOL.
